Reserve now and Pay Later (Temporary Reservation Holds)
System Requirements:
Online Search Engine: version 4.5 or later (Contact support if you need to find our which version you are on. Upgrade maybe subject to additional charges)
Functionality:
The Reserve and Pay Later button is on the final step of the booking process. If turned on this button displays and allows the guest to reserve the property with out making a payment. VRM can change the text on this button.
A report is available to allow the property manager to manage, follow-up, and contact the guest.
The report can be found under Reservations --> Reports --> click Reporting Service link --> Res On Temporary Hold.
- Guest Name: Name of the person who made the Reservation
- Guest Phone: Phone number introduced at the time of make the Reservation
- Res ID: Reservation ID corresponding to temporary hold reservation
- Status: Of the reservation - In all cases this should be "UNConfirmed"
- Property: Name of the property booked
- Arrival: Reservation arrival date
- Departure: Reservation departure date
- Reserved: Date the reservation was made (Search criteria is based on this date)
- Prepay: Total amount due in prepay
- Total Paid: This is how much they may have paid to date.
This report is available for customization based on the Property Management needs (maybe subject to additional charges).
