Transferring Funds from One  Reservation to Another

Reservation funds can be transferred with a reservation from one property to another or on the same property from one reservation to another.

In the event that a guest has cancelled a reservation and then requested  that the reservation be reinstated, funds can be transferred from the  cancelled reservation to a new reservation.  To reinstate a reservation  and transfer funds from a cancelled reservation to a new reservation follow  these steps:

In this case Donna Day has cancelled reservation #690.

Donna Day then asks to have her reservation reinstated. A new reservation  is created for the same property on the same dates.

In the Payup screen of the cancelled reservation, the paid up Prepay balance is transferred to the new reservation.

When the prepay funds are transferred to the new reservation. The  Reservation Audit Trail will confirm that the funds have been transferred out  of the cancelled reservation.

The funds will show as a transfer in the Payup screen of the new  reservation.
