7.2.0 Manage Property Notes

Property Notes

 

Note Categories should be set up in System Configuration before a property note can be entered.

 

To Create note categories go to System Configuration> Property> Note Categories> click New. (Some examples are Housekeeping, Maintenance, Warranty Info, etc)
 

Once the Note Categories are created in the system, Property Notes can be entered. Property Notes can be entered and viewed from a few different areas in VRM.  The Property Notes screen is exactly the same no matter where the note originates from.

To Create a Property Note

1) MISC. > Manage Property Notes> On the lower part of the page select the Office> select a Category> select the Property> enter a Short Description> enter a Long Description (This is the Property Note)  optional)> click Add Note.


 

2) PROPERTIES > Manage Properties> select the office> highlight the property> click Property Notes in red> the office and property are already selected> select a Category> enter a Short Description> enter a Long Description (optional)> click Add Note.


 

3)  Calendars (By Property, Tape Chart or Annual Calendar) select the property> click Property Notes in red> the office and property are already selected> select a Category> enter a Short Description> enter a Long Description (optional)> click Add Note.

 

Below is a screen shot of the Property Notes screen the upper section is used for searching notes and the bottom section is used for entering notes. (click on it for a larger image)
