Area Information

 
Situation 1: A local establishment is offering your guests a discount
 
Sometimes rental companies form agreements with local businesses in which the rental company will display the business’ brochures in their lobby, or include them in a check-in packet if the business will give guests of that rental company a discount. Although you might have a list on your website of things to do in the area, you would not want to include the discount information there. Instead of including this on your main website, you can share the details and discount code in the Area Information section under Office Configuration.
 
Additional information that can be shared on the Guest Extranet in the Area Information section of Office 
Configuration:
 Hours of operation, contact numbers, and web links for local businesses and restaurants
 Hours of operation for transportation services (ski lifts, shuttles, ferries, etc.)
 Special events and their dates and times (outside movies played each week, Kids’ Day every Wednesday at the local zoo, etc.)
 Parking regulations (hours, locations, fees, etc.)
 Fishing license rules and regulations and where to purchase
 Firework rules and regulations
 Any rules and regulations that vary by city, county, state, etc. and might be unique to your area
 Tips for treating sunburn, jellyfish string, frostbite, etc.
 Contact numbers for police, fire and rescue, park ranger, etc.
 A link or widget for weather information
