13.6.1.8 Resending Guest Survey Link using Welcome Home

Resending link to Guest Survey:


1. Go to Welcome Home from the VRM Admin Console (System Configuration -> Reports -> Welcome Home Dashboard-> View Report).

2. Select ‘Manual Messages’.

2. Choose Administrative or Financial as the option for the message category.
3. Choose Email.
4. Choose "By Reservation ID" and type in the guest reservation ID.  Then click 'Res Details' to make sure this is the correct guest.
5. Type a message to the guest letting them know you are sending them the link for the Guest Survey.  As part of your message, be sure to include the tag [SURVEY_LINK] in all uppercase with at least once space on either side.  This will insert the survey link into the message so the guest can click it to complete the survey.
6. Click the "Send Message" button.

Be aware that this trick only works if the survey has been created already.  If no survey has been previously created (or sent), the message will not go out.
