3.1.2 - Area Information and Check-in Procedures

Area Information and Check-in Procedures

Below the ON/OFF toggle switch and the email address field, there are two WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) text editors. The one on the left is for Area Information, and the one located on the right is for Check-in Procedures.

Office Configuration Screen - WYSIWYG Editors for Area Information and Check-in Information

In the Area Information text field, enter anything you would like to share with your guests via Guest Extranet regarding what is going on in the area. This is good place for listing things to do, places to eat, places to visit, etc. You can also include pictures and links.

In addition to having the information you enter in the ‘Guest Extranet Area Information’ text box show under the Area Information section in the Guest Extranet, information you set up under the ‘Categories’ menu that you assign to an Office will also be displayed under the ‘Area Information’ heading in the Guest Extranet.  (Additional information in section  3.3 - Categories .)

The Check-in Procedures text field is designed for you to be able to share information with your guests related to check-in. Here you can list check-in hours, procedures for after-hours check-in, lock box combinations, etc. If you are going to use the ‘Event Messaging’ feature to send emails/text messages to your guests when their property is cleaned and ready for check-in, you can alert your guests to that in the check-in procedures section. This way guests will know to be looking for the message and will not be calling to find out if they can check in and/or when they will know if they can check in early.
