Tips on HOW to Report an Issue for the quickest resolution

​In order for Tech Support to be able to resolve an issue we need to be able to reproduce the problem.  There are 3 fundamental steps for correctly reporting a help desk issue:

  1. Steps to reproduce:  A step by step of what you did to get the error.  Sometimes the error caused by the sequence, sometimes the data itself.  Step by step instruction will help us narrow it down.

  2. What you expected to see: What the result you were hoping for.  Sometimes this could be nothing more than not understanding the overall purpose or sometimes it is just a terminology issue where VRM has called something one thing and you may understand that as something completely different.

  3. What you saw instead:  The actual results given by the process, procedure and/or program.

     


With these 3 things we should be able to provide you better and faster service.
