4.4 - Event Messages

Event Messages

Situation 4: You allow guests to check in as soon as their property is cleaned

Everyone is eager for their vacation to begin. The sooner your guests get into their rental the sooner it can start. You can use the Event Messaging feature in Welcome Home to set up and send messages to your guests as soon as their vacation rental is cleaned and ready for check-in with instructions of where to go and what to do to check-in. For detailed steps on how to set this up, read the  3.4.6 - Another Event Message Example: Vacation Rental is Ready for Check-in  section of the User's Guide.

Situation 5: Your company acquired a new property or properties

In the vacation rental business, it is not uncommon to get a new property on your rental market. In fact, in the middle of the rental season, you might find yourself with a new vacation rental property complete with reservations. When this happens, it is extremely important to communicate with guests letting them know of the change in management companies. Using the Event Messaging feature in Welcome Home, you can create a message to be sent to the guests of the specific property letting them know of the change in management companies, the details for where to go to check-in, and any other policies or information your company wants to share.

Additional information that can be shared with emails or text messages through Event Messages (multi-use messages):
