All Inclusive Pricing
All Inclusive Pricing in VRM is the ability to create Rent Adjustments or Guest Charges that will directly affect the Rate Table shown both on the property detail page of the website and be available to all Channel Partners that are being fed via The Vacation Bridge (i.e. Flip Key, Home Away, Resorts and Lodges, etc.)
To qualify a Rent Adjustment or a Guest Charge for "All Inclusive", the following criteria must be met:
- "Automatic" must be checked.
- "Add to Rent" must be checked.
- "Prorate" must be unchecked.
- "Nightly Charge" must be unchecked.
- "Use date range" must be unchecked.
- Auto day type must be "Greater Than"
- Auto day end must be equal to 0 or greater than or equal to 365
- Auto Day begin must be 0.
- Amount must be greater than 0.
As of Release 5.0 we have added an override allowing of a little more flexibility.
This is the new "All Inclusive" checkbox.
If the "All Inclusive" checkbox is selected:
- Use date range can be selected and a date range is allowable.
- Auto Day End and Auto Day Begin can also be adjusted.
The system will use the Season Start Date and it will pass in 1 day, 7 days and 30 days (daily, weekly, monthly) and if the date falls with in the date range being used and the 1, 7, 30 is within the auto day range then the charge will be used to modify the rates for that season.
NOTE: The old inclusive pricing setup still works for backwards compatibility, and the "All Inclusive" checkbox does not need to be checked if all of the previous requirements are in place.
