13.6.1.7 How do I know the Guest Survey setup is complete and working?

  1. Have I contacted VRM and returned the questions document?
  2. Have I received word from VRM that the installation is complete?
  3. Go To System Configuration àReports.  You should see a “Guest Survey Admin” report.  Highlight this report and click the View Report button.  Your guest survey admin should display here and you should be able to navigate all four links.

  5. Once setup is complete, the end user can turn on the Guest Survey email that goes out to the guest following these steps:
    1. Go to System ConfigurationàCompanyàReservation Emails tab.
    2. Next locate the reservation email labeled "# Days after check out (4)" and click Edit.
    3. Proceed to fill out the body and subject line.  Setting this up will send an email to the guest with a link where they can go to fill out the survey.  Take a look at the attached file "Step 6" for an example of what it looks like.  Further take a look at attached file Step 9 to see what the survey looks like to the guest.
    4. When you are done click save.
    5. This should take you back to the Reservation Email screen.  Make sure to check the "# Days after check out (4)" check box and click save on this screen as well.
    6. So that is 2 "Save" clicks on two different screens.

5.  If everything is all setup, a good way to know everything is working is the actual receipt of guest surveys.  This can be checked by navigating to  System Configuration >> Reports >> Guest Survey Admin >> Search Survey Forms.  A list of survey’s that have been submitted will display here.  For more information visit  13.6.1 Guest Survey Admin
